About the Topic
Nations, non-governmental organizations, and corporations are all trying to adjust to a rapidly evolving global order—each vying for influence, security, and economic advantage. Mr. McNeal will explore the complex and challenging geopolitical dynamics of the Trump 2.0 era, examining how President Trump’s approach to foreign policy, tariffs, and global leadership is reshaping major power competition.
He will discuss how emerging technologies—especially advanced manufacturing, robotics, autonomous systems, and artificial intelligence—are impacting supply chains, influencing traditional relationships, shifting strategic tools, and redefining global norms. With a deep network across Washington, Beijing, and the capitals of Asia, Europe, and Africa, Mr. McNeal brings a unique perspective on how today’s fragmented landscape is driving new political, economic, and security alignments.
