Meet the Author

James M. Lindsay is the Mary and David Boies Distinguished Senior Fellow in U.S. Foreign Policy and Director of Fellowship Affairs at the Council on Foreign Relations (CFR). A leading expert on American national security and foreign policy, he previously served on the National Security Council and has held senior leadership roles at CFR.
He is the author of several influential books, including The Empty Throne and America Unbound, and hosts the widely followed podcast The President’s Inbox. Lindsay holds advanced degrees from Yale University and has taught at the University of Texas and the University of Iowa.

Jim Falk is President Emeritus of the World Affairs Council of Dallas/Fort Worth. Now residing in Santa Fe, NM, he is Vice Chairman of the Board of Global Santa Fe. In addition to hosting WorldNow with Jim Falk, Jim produces and hosts The Forum, a weekly talk show on KSFR-FM, Santa Fe Public Radio. He is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations.
